A toast to the Bratz!

I love it a Bratzy drink!

Check out the drink's picture here
http://www.cocktailguiden.com/cocktailbilder/Bratz-on-Apeach.jpg

Here is the yummy sounding recipe!

Bratz on Apeach

A new drink recipe featuring Absolut Apeach, the newest member of the Absolut vodka family.

40 ml Absolut Apeach
60 ml pineapple juice
60 ml cranberry juice
egg white or frothee

Shake well with ice in a cocktail shaker.
Strain into a cocktail glass and decorate with a maraschino cherry

Just so you know this is NOT an official MGA thing so this name may be changed but it was just fun to notice- but MGA did not want the Bratz on cig lighters etc, they never would have had a drink named this as a "Bratz" thing.

MGA sues Mattel!

I know of one really nasty thing Mattel pulled recently and MGA asked me not to mention it but I am sure it will come out in the details of this case. Its not a surprise, Mattel is a nasty bully.

MGA Entertainment, Inc. Files Suit against Mattel, Inc.

LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 13, 2005--MGA Entertainment, Inc., the maker of the world famous "BRATZ" dolls, filed a multi-count federal lawsuit against Mattel, Inc. in the Central District of California on April 13, 2005. In what MGA calls "A Picture Speaks a Thousand Words" lawsuit against the behemoth toy company, MGA alleges that Mattel has engaged in acts of unfair competition and intellectual property infringement intended to damage MGA's market share, confuse consumers and trade on MGA's goodwill.

"MGA is committed to taking all steps necessary to protect the value of BRATZ and its other intellectual property and, through its complaint, seeks significant damages from Mattel," says Isaac Larian, CEO of MGA Entertainment.

MGA's stellar legal team is comprised of Dale Cendali of O'Melveny & Myers and Patricia Glaser of Christensen, Miller, Fink, Jacobs, Glaser, Weil and Shapiro LLP.

MGA Entertainment, a consumer entertainment products company headquartered in Van Nuys, California, manufactures innovative lines of proprietary and licensed products, including toys and games, dolls, consumer electronics, home decor, stationary and sporting goods. BRATZ was introduced in June 2001, and has since become one of the world's premiere toy lines and girls' lifestyle brands. The BRATZ brand is also noted for having won Family Fun magazine's Toy of the Year Award four years in a row. With over 350 licensees worldwide, BRATZ brings together innovative companies and cutting-edge fashion styles to create exciting new products in apparel, footwear, fashion accessories and so much more.
